Paid off car?

I logged onto my account one day and my car was mysteriously paid off I didn't pay it off and I don't know where the payment came from or who did it. I got a paid in full letter in the mail but the title was sent to Texas I don't know why but what should I do? Can I get in any trouble because of someone's mistake?
