Do you think that Muslims in general are more defensive?

I'm not trying to be racist, but I know quite a few Muslims and I don't know why, but no matter what subject is brought up, they always aggressively attack you. These are just the ones I know, I'm not stereotyping, just wondering if you have had the same experience, and why?
