Are our little rendez vous leading to something or is he just playing the game!!!?

He's a musician and that is how i actually met him...well, one nite after a gig!!!we really hit it off and had a great chat adn seemed to have a lot in common....we have been in contact since we met which is almost 3 wks ago and since then i have been to 2 more of his gigs and like on the fort nite we met we chatted after for hours and we shared a gud nite kiss etc! he said that he would try and come along to a concert that was happening during the same wk however he couldnt which i was ok about i didnt mind because there was going to be alot of ppl there that i knew anyway!!since that i went to another one of his gigs and like before it was great and everything went really well....we send sms messages to each other everyday and sometimes he will even message me more than expected which i think is a good sign but the only thing is he hasnt as of yet asked me out on a formal date or anything???He is very shy but everytime im with him i get the feeling that we are moving closer each other but why has he not asked me out or am i looling for too much too soon or is he playing games?thanks
