Nail bleed.. wad steps to take after i buy e styptic powder?

this has happened to me with one of my small dogs. He moved & it clipped too short. Deff keep it banadaged. Of course they will walk funny & pretend like they can't do anything. But they'll be fine. You can put corn meal on it as well. Don't try anything moist. Just keep it wrapped & it will stop with in a few days. It just has to clot & grow a little stronger. And she will be fine.
