Is that wierd that I like to change my baby's diaper and talk to her while she feeds?

She kind of smiles but she gives me this look like who is this person who can't keep her "trap shut"? Her name is Ashley but I think she will never ever know her real name. I think shes going to grow up thinking her name is "cutie" "sweetie" or maybe "princess". In order to encourage gender neutral play when she gets a little older should I discourage her from playing with dolls. Right now my husband is away with his Army Unit getting ready to be deployed but when he comes back should I encourage him to show her how to use tools like pliars, screwdrivers,etc. When we live together I plan to make him the "handyman" around the house even though its not a gender neutral activity lol lol.
