How to deal with anxiety?

I'm not a doctor but I have a lot of experience with mental health medications so I will tell you what I know. Paxil can't just stop working, but you may just need a higher dose for it to be more effective. Your anxiety sounds pretty bad though so maybe you need a medication that treats anxiety and panic disorders more effectively. Paxil and Zoloft treat both depression and anxiety but not severe anxiety that causes panic attacks. You may benefit from a benzodiazepine like xanax or valium for instance. They should be more effective in treating your anxiety and panic attacks. There are also other cles of anti-anxiety meds that treat mainly anxiety. Talk to your doctor about these anxiety attacks and panic attacks you've had because what you're prescribed now is obviously not effective.
