Has my partner been set up? Is this legal?this situation stinks?

There is a family rift between my mum and her brother who is a duty holding officer He has friends who are officers and sergeants. To cut a long story short 2 years ago , my mum accused her brother of stealing thousands of pounds out of my grandparents bank account( he was holder of bank book and signature as they are frail) a thousand pound a month was spent, they had no mortgage! anyway My grandad had to go in hospital and mums brother took my nan to look at a nursing home. She came back in a state that day crying to my mum that he was been mean and nasty to her. My mum packed my nans belongings and took her up to her own house, which he seen my nan get in to my mums car.The next day my mum got a knock on the door and two policeman asked to have a word. They said they had been asked to do a favour! they said my nan had gone missing! my mum explained that he had seen her get nan in to the car and they apologised as they knew she was there!. Now i will get to the shocker of the story! my 14 year old daughter recieved a message on facebook to tell her that her great grandad had died the day before and to let us all know. I was so upset, i had to tell my mum who was screaming and then had to tell my nan that her husband had died ( he had told everyone in medical prof, he was next of kin) so my daughter went to his house to ask why he couldnt of told my mum or his own mum, why get some else in the family to facebook it!!!? my partner followed my daughter up there and i shortly followed.. She stood at his door and shrugged his shoulders I told him he should have been more grown up and should at least told us by phone the day it happened. The three of us left and we went home. My phone then rang , it was my cousin ( who had sent the message via facebook) she was laughing down the phone at me whilst i was crying) so my daughter yet again was upset got her shoes on and walked up my cousins, i asked my partner to follow her yet again! i got my coat on and caught mike up. There were 2 police cars and 6 police waiting outside my mums brothers house talking to my partner. i explained what had happen and as a funeral director myself i was mortified that another company would pick my grandad up ( i loved my grandad, and would have looked after him) and i explained the family situation to them, they seemed to be ok. (By the way my mums brothers partner is a community support officer, so she in on it!!!! she also takes a lot of cocaine, which police are unaware) I told them that i was going to my cousins house which is just 1 minute away, so me and my partner walked up there to find where my upset daughter was. There was my aunty, my cousin and her partner. they told me that my daughter had left. i told them that they had been totally disrepectful to my mum and nan. They just laughed, so my partner called them f....... slags and we walked home. My daughter was already home and had told me, whilst she had been in there house, the brother had phone to tell my cousin that the police were going to arrest my daughter!!!!! for what??? knocking a DOOR??? anyway the police came to my door 10 minutes later to arrest my partner . My auntie and cousin and her partner had told police that my partner has threatened to set them on fire!!!! He was locked up for 22 hours, taken to court and charged with a section 4 . We now all have to go to court including my poor 14 year child at the end of July as my partner had pleaded not guilty No police have taken a statement from me or my daughter. My partner has had his firearms licence taken away. My mums brother has harressed my parents in the street, he is a bully and has been told off before at work for bulling prisoners. I dont know whether to go a see cid officer??? somebody help me!!!!!!!
