Does anyone know how to get into the upper floors of the U.S. Bank Building in Los Angeles (The Library Tower)

For those old "An Affair to Remember" sappy movie fans, I promised my girlfriend we'd return to the Empire State building in 6 months, but due to schedule issues will not be able to fulfill that promise. This Thursday (8/16) is the 6-month mark and I thought I could get her up there instead, but they don't have any type of observation deck. Anyone know of a tip, trick, or insider that could get us up there for a 5-minute view of the LA Skyline Thursday evening? My backup plan is the restaurant on top of the Westin Bonaventure, but it just isn't the same. Any suggestions?
